Shake ‘n Bake Mustard Dipped Salmon



2 frozen or fresh pieces of salmon

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (my favorite is FAGE)

1/4 cup of honey mustard

1 tsp of fresh thyme

1 tsp of black pepper

1 baking dish

2 small mixing bowls

1 boxed Oven Fry – extra crispy chicken 

step 1

thaw salmon if frozen according to package directions. set oven to temperature listed on salmon package. spray baking dish with Pam, set aside.


step 2

in a small mixing bowl add 1 cup of greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of honey mustard, 1 tsp of thyme (stems removed), 1 tsp of black pepper.


mix until will combined. Place 1/2 cup of yogurt dip in empty mixing bowl, cover, and put in the fridge to be used later.


step 3

using a spatula, spread remaining yogurt dip onto salmon, coating completely. flip salmon over and repeat . discard left over yogurt sauce (it’s has raw salmon in it, yuck!).


step 4

open box of Oven Fry, pour contents onto a clean plate. Take the first piece of salmon and drop it on top of the Oven Fry pile, press salmon into Oven Fry. Flip the salmon over, repeat. Repeat this step with the second piece of salmon.



Place both pieces of salmon into the sprayed baking dish. Bake according to salmon package.


Pair with mashed sweet potatoes and baked brussels sprouts. Serve with the reserved yogurt sauce you tucked into the fridge.
