First of all, have you noticed the leaves are finally changing? Fall is finally here and it only took to the middle of November. These pictures were taken on the 14th on the greenbelt in Scottsdale. This is my main running spot. On this particular day we were just out on a walk to the park. Rox found a frisbee and really wanted to join the frisbee golfers, but she couldn’t figure out how to throw it so that didn’t happen. These pictures were taken south of the frisbee golf course. One of the things I love most about fall is the long afternoon shadows. So pretty.
Second of all, I’ve been running. Not only have I been running, but I also officially signed up for the Phoenix half marathon in March. I’m nervous because I have been running but I still have a long ways to go. That’s okay. You have to start somewhere right?!? October was not a good running month for me. I went home to my parents for two weeks and didn’t run at all. I also had some thyroid issues mixed in there. Luckily November came along. I got a double jogging stroller, got on some new thyroid medication, and my husband surprised me with a new pair of running shoes. Things have gone much better for me this month.
