Things to do in Phoenix this week and next week (August 25- September 8)

Since next weekend is a holiday weekend (and my anniversary) I am going to do two weeks in one post. That way you can plan ahead for the next two weeks.

Phoenix Events

August 21- September 15: Rent at the Phoenix Theater.

August 26: WWE at RAW at the US Airways Center. $20-95.

August 26- September 4: Lots of home games for the Diamondbacks! Check the website for additional information.

August 28: Best of 2013 Sundance Film Festival Short Films. Located at the Phoenix art museum at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 for non-members.

August 29- October 12: Little Women will be performed at the Hale Center Theatre in Gilbert. Check their website for showtimes and ticket prices.

August 30: Black Sabbath is performing at the US Airways Center. Tickets start at $44.75 and go up from there. Show starts at 7:30.

August 31- September 2: Apple Annie’s Harvest Celebration. If you’re wiling to make the drive to Wilcox it might be really fun!

August 31- September 1: Wet ‘n’ Wild in Phoenix will have a BBQ and fireworks each night. The BBQ is in addition to the admission price but the fireworks are included!

August 31: Roller Derby in Mesa. Have you ever watched roller derby? I haven’t, but I’m thinking it might be fun to go watch. 11 am at the Mesa Rec Center. $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

August 31: Hawaiian Day Luau in Scottsdale at the El Dorado pool. There will even be fire dancers there. 5-8 pm.

August 31: Phoenix Cooks! Located at the Westin Keirland Resort and Spa enjoy a day of delicious food and drinks. $75 in advance.

August 31: Afternoon tea with Lady Georgianna Rannoch. She’s 35th in line for the British throne. Might be fun to try something new. 2 pm.

August 31: Hip hop dance competition at Grand Canyon University Arena. $20 general admission. Begins at 6:30 pm.

September 2: 5th annual Grill at the Mill. Located in Queen Creek, along with the regular menu you can enjoy so much more! 11-3 pm. Check their website for additional events going on like a progressive dinner or live music.

September 8: Cardinals first official game day. It’s an away game, but you can watch it on Fox at 1:25 MST.
