Watermelon Nectarine Smoothie – All Fruit

With the summer heat and monsoon humidity warm food is last on the tastebud list.   Anybody else out there dying from this humidity? My heart goes out to all ya’ll in the South sweating your little hearts out due to humidity. I guess the upside to humidity is no need for straighteners, chap-stick, or lotion, right? I spent a year and half in Tennessee so I promise I do know what humidity really is, but here is Arizona we are accustomed to our blazing- hot-dry heat. Anyways. Here’s a fun, fruity, and refreshing treat.

What you need:

-5 cups  cold watermelon, rhine and seeds removed, cubed.

-2 fresh nectarines – pit & stem removed, sliced.

Place cubed watermelon and sliced nectarines in the blender.

Blend until smooth.

Pour into serving glasses.

PS – The weather man has been predicting monsoon rain for the last couple of weeks. He/she’s been wrong, 9 out of 10 times. Think about that. What other job is there where you can get your job wrong 9 out of 10 times on a consistant and regular basis? If I did my job wrong 9 out of 10 times, I’d be fired! Just saying.
