Sorry this is a couple days late. I honestly totally forgot to do it. Can I blame it on the heat?!? Sure, why not. This Friday is supposed to be a high of 115, but who is keeping track once it gets above 100 anyway? I have not quite gotten used to these AZ summers, but I promise I am working on it. Luckily for us there’s lots of fun things to do this week.
Broadway’s Sister Act the Musical in Tempe: Tuesday June 25-June 30. Located at the ASU Gammage Theater. Tickets start at $23.50.
Ringling Bros Circus in Phoenix: Wednesday June 26-Monday July 1. Located at the US Airways Center. Check the website for showtimes. Tickets range from $15-95. Kids under 2 are free on someone’s lap.
Vans Warped Tour in Mesa: Thursday June 27 from 12-9 pm. Tickets are $23.50-$40.00.
Summer Family Night at the Museum in Scottsdale: Thursday June 27 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. $20 for a family of 4. $4 for additional family members. Pre-registration is required.
Family Fun Zone in Gilbert: Friday June 28 from 6pm-8:45 pm. It’s located at the McQueen Park Activity Center. 510 N. Horne St. in Gilbert. Sorry I couldn’t find a website for it. Come enjoy obstacle courses and dodgeball. $2.25 or $1.50 for residents.
Summer Splash Tour in Glendale: Saturday June 29. This is the last stop in the tour. 9am-1pm. Admission is Free!
PhxArtKids Day in Phoenix: Saturday June 29 at 1:00 pm. Enjoy a variety of video game themed art projects at the Phoenix Art Museum. Cost is included in admission.
Scorpion Hunt in Mesa: Saturday June 29 at 8:00 pm at the Usery Mountain Regional Park. Grab your black light flashlight and wear closed toe shoes! $6 per car to enter the park and the hunt is no extra cost. You can even go earlier and learn all about scorpions and watch the snake feeding. If you live in the desert you might as well appreciate it right?!?
