One of the stops on our trip was to the beautiful state of Utah. Every time I go to Utah I try to make a special trip up to Sundance Resort. I went to college in Utah and I used to get season passes to Sundance that worked for snowboarding all winter and mountain biking all summer. It was great and I don’t deny that I miss it. Now that I have a baby I just go to visit and walk around. I always get a Sundance bar when I am there too. The flavor of the bar depends on the season. Last fall they were cherry and this time around they were raspberry. Sundance is beautiful year round. The seasons in Utah are spectacular and Sundance does not disappoint. Sundance has nice restaurants, a mountain store, a yummy deli (where you can purchase the Sundance bars), trails for hiking and biking, and they even have bike rentals if you are feeling adventurous. They run one of the ski lifts all summer so you don’t even have to hike or bike up hill if you’re not feeling up to it.
If you’re headed up there make sure you stop by Bridal Veil Falls in the canyon. There is a great walking/biking path that goes right along the falls. During the summer months you can even float down the river in a tube. Then head further up the canyon and enjoy Deer Creek. If it’s windy you can usually spot kite surfers out on the water. They’re not even turned away by the cold water.
