Things to do in Phoenix this week (June 3-8)

My little Roxie and I are still on vacation. We are lucky enough to be enjoying some nice California weather. In case you aren’t as lucky as we are, here are some great ways to escape (or enjoy) the heat this week!

Phoenix Events


Damn Yankees in Gilbert: June 2-29 at the Hale Centre Theater. Check website for showtime and ticket prices.

Mumford and Sons in Phoenix: Wednesday June 5 at 7 pm. $30-50.

Astronomy Night in Mesa: Friday June 7 (first Friday of each month). First show is at 6 pm and the last show is at 9:30 pm. Tickets are free and are handed out on a first come first serve basis. The wait is usually no longer than a half hour. Located at the Mesa Community College Planetarium.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants at Chase Field: June 7-9. Times vary. Tickets start at $15. June 9th is Bark in the Park day which means you can bring your doggy friend with you. Check the website for more info.

Summer Splash Tour in Gilbert: Saturday June 8. 9 am- 1 pm. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. Brought to you by Radio Disney. Admission is Free!

Glendale Watermelon Festival in Glendale: Saturday June 8. 8 am- 2 pm. Free admission.

Mighty Mud Mania in Scottsdale: Saturday June 8, 8 am-1 pm. Lots of fun muddy activities for the whole family, including toddlers! $10 for age 18 and older. Kids are free.

Food Truck Caravan in Scottsdale: Saturday June 8 (and every Saturday). 7:30-11:30 pm.
