Going to the Country Gonna Eat a Lot of Peaches

Some friends and I were able to go to Schnepf Farm Peach Festival. The farm is loaded with different things to do. It was really fun for the adults and the kiddos. It will make the list for summer traditions.

The farm offers free samplings of the various peach items. It’s kind of like if Costco put all their samples in one spot. The full sized items can be purchased at the end of the line or in the store. The store also sells fresh peach pies, homemade ice cream, peach cinnamon rolls, and tons of other fun things.

Once you’ve had your free peach fix, head over to the vendor area, take a train ride, bike ride, or pony ride! Don’t forget to take some fun photos in the cutouts.

Then park your stroller, and climb on the hay ride and head out to pick some peaches. You may even find yourself sampling a few:).

To the peaches

Not into peaches, the farm also has U-pick veggies and flowers. Flowers are $1.00 a stem, veggies are varied and based on availability.

Thanks for coming along guys, I had a great time and can’t wait for next year.

Ah, shoot! I am bummed for you too, the peach festival has such a short window. Be sure to check back with us at the beginning of each week for upcoming local events. Ashleigh does a great job of searching out fun things to do locally.

      Thanks for stopping by.
